Public utilities are complex and highly regulated. When DTE had to add a new, state-mandated rate to their product offerings, I was part of a creative team that created new assets, copy, a rate finder quiz, and offered advice and direction on how to position the new rate to encourage its use and reduce strain on the local electrical grid. We helped ensure that people who needed the new rate understood it, how to change their energy plans, and what other DTE offerings were compatible with the new rate.
